How Bazaar....

Our church bazaar is coming up and I am the co-chair of the silent auction. I have got to get busy finding goodies to auction off. We have a great core group of people that give great items every year, but I need to start finding those extra-special things that will bring in the bucks!!
If you own a business or do something cute (perhaps something like this), and you want to get some free publicity, holler!! I would love to have some new items to offer up.

Apparently, there was a birthday in her class today.
I do not understand the whole cupcake phenomenon. Maybe it's because I would much rather have rice or mashed potatoes over cakes/cookies/desserts. Not that little girl, though. You show her anything covered in icing and she will follow you home.
Err...a note to all kidnappers...she Lo-Jacked, so back-off!!

Korean Class
This class was awesome tonight. I know we only saw the tip of the iceberg, but I feel like I learned so much!! We learned the alphabet and I think I could read Korean already. I wouldn't have a clue what I was reading, but I could pronounce everything. Hopefully, I will continue to feel this confidence as we progress even more.
Recently, I have seen a look of horror as some of my Korean mothers are dropping off their children at school. If they don't speak any English, they are totally confused and have no idea where we are taking their precious children. It will be so nice to be able to communicate with them (even a tiny bit) to let them know that we are taking good care of their children and everything is going to be great.

Overall, pretty boring day, today. Got home from class, ate some delicious edamame in front of the tube and hit the pillow before 10:00. Nice!!
