Miles Today: 3.0 (walking)

I felt like running today, but my back did not feel like running today.  I have a race this weekend and didn't want to push it.  I walked in a long sleeve tech shirt and hardly broke a sweat!  Love this early morning weather!!

Funny story...

A few days ago, on the way to school, Roo made a (quite dramatic) statement about 3 blocks from the house that "Mama, we haven't seen a school bus yet today."  She couldn't see that we were about to pull up next to one at the intersection.  So, as we pulled up, I simply said "BOOM! Schoolbus!!"  The kids thought that was so funny!!  For three days now, everything in the car has been "Boom! Parking lot,"  "Boom! Car," "Boom! Truck," "Boom! Mama," "Boom! Park,"  "Boom! Seatbelt" followed by hysterical laughter.  

Finally, this morning, I told them that it was soooo not funny anymore.  So, as Roo continues to shout "Boom! Whatever!"  Dub is telling her calmly to stop.  "Roo, stop it.  Mama said stop it.  Mama said it is not funny anymore.  Please stop, Roo.  Mama said to stop it.  Mama, she is not stopping.  Mama, Roo keeps saying Boom.  Mama....".  Me (and Roo finally stops): "Ok--thank you WW.  You do not always have to be the hall monitor.  I can hear her.  I will take care of her"

Roo: "Boom!  Hall Monitor!"

Why Why Why...

am I obsessed with movie trailers?  

I hate to go to the movies.  Hate almost everything about them.  There one redeeming quality--nachos!!  Maybe my Adult ADD attention span, but I just get sooo bored at a movie (or even watching them at home).  I feel guilty--like I should be doing laundry or ironing or anything besides sitting and relaxing.  

However, I could watch movie trailers all day!!  I think I get the whole plot line--beginning, middle and end all summed up for me nicely in 3 minutes.

Supper Club

I got to sneak out of the house for a little while tonight.  Went to the country club for supper club!!  So good to see, sit and talk to some friends that I really don't get to see enough!  I love getting to catch up with folks!  

Home and about to head to bed.  Guess what?  Tomorrow is FRIDAY!!

Anyway...that's my day.  I swear...it'll get better!
