It felt AWESOME this morning!!! I am loving this weather.  I cannot stop talking about it.

Flag Day...

We had a very nice outdoor ceremony this morning at school.  I don't think it is actually Flag Day, but we had a ceremony, nonetheless.  It feels so good outside, it is a beautiful day.  Nice to see all of the kids singing the National Anthem.

For lunch...Salt, please!

I forgot to bring something for lunch today, but I always have several little randoms in my desk or in the freezer just in case.  So, today's delicious and NUTRITIOUS lunch was a snack size pack of frozen edamame and some super salty ramen noodles.  I feel swollen just thinking about it.  Ugh!  I might need a night run tonight just to sweat some of that outta my body!!

Oops!!

I have been telling Dub all week that if he has a wonderful week, we will hit up the football game tonight.  

Good News:  Wonderful Week

Bad News:  Away Game (out of town, away game)

Bad, Mama!!  It never even crossed my mind to find out WHERE the game was tonight.  He is going to be super upset with me.  I am going to have to think of something really awesome to make up for being a bonehead!

Ben and I are both short folks, not gonna lie.  Our children have never been "short" according to any of their doctors measurements.  However...it cracks me up a little to see their best friends right now...

I kinda think JB might actually qualify for Junior Varsity.  He is so tall and big.  He is the sweetest kid, though.  Dub adores him.

Dinner for Friends!

I am taking dinner to some friends tonight who recently had a third beautiful daughter!  They are such sweet and nice people, and she is an amazing chef...I hope they don't mind when I show up with Midtown Pizza and Salads!!

Baby Shower!

After I take dinner to the Ashursts, I get to make food for one of my best friend's baby shower tomorrow.  

I am making Pimento Cheese, Chicken Salad and Bacon and Tomato finger sandwiches.  Hungry??  

I am also making punch...never made punch before, but apparently, you put sherbet in it.  I mean...I've had punch before, but I had no idea you had to shop in the ice cream aisle to make it.  

Amanda is due in October and she is going to be an awesome little Mama!!  

Anyway...that's my day.  I swear...it'll get better!
