How could you not like your job when you get to hang out with sweet girls like this all the time??
| Virginia and Anna...so sweet. |
Hallelujah!!!!!
The Dubs had a GREAT day at school yesterday! I am so thankful. I had no idea the stress that would (could) come from worrying about your child at school. We have never had any sort of behavior problem with him, so it was shocking to hear that he was acting out. I know it is only the second week of school - a new school (new schedule, new teachers, new kids, new curriculum and responsibilities), but I hope that short little phase is over. Praying for 150 more perfect days!
After school, we had to make a few stops before we could celebrate.

| you're cool, too! |
First, we had to go to Costco!! Love, love, love Costco. And, not just because they have the double-buggy (greatest invention ever!).

Finally, we got to celebrate the great day! I took the kids to eat Mexican Sandwiches and Cheese Dip!! Our favorite! I love that the kids call quesadillas "mexican sandwiches." It kinda cracks me up when they order.

And, of course, we ran by the carrot store. What "great day" would be complete without it??

I told him that if he has another great day tomorrow, we will have a spend-the-night-party!! At our house, that means the kids help me make dinner (usually pizza with 2 tons of cheese on it, pigs in a blanket, or hamburgers), then we eat on the floor in the den, take a bath, put on our pj's and get our sleeping bags out and watch a movie or something. We don't do tv during the week, so it's a nice and easy treat! Plus - even after all of that excitement...they are still usually in the bed before 7:30 (an hour after bedtime).
We watched Ratatouille last week. They loved the Little Chef!! They asked me if that is how Daddy cooks? (with a rat under his hat)...pretty cute. Dub said he didn't want a movie tonight...too long. He just wanted to watch 2 Mickey's (Mickey Mouse Clubhouse). Fine by me!!
Anyway...that's my day. I swear...it'll get better.
Questions for today...
What is your job? Do you love it???
Do you always get the same thing at Mexican restaurants?
What is your favorite Disney movie?
Any recipes that you cook with your children that you want to share?
