Bad start to my day today...

I got up super early and had a great run.

THEN...I got dressed and got the kids dressed and ready for school and then, as I am dropping them off, I get asked by BOTH teachers what I do when they don't follow directions at home. SHOCK!! Just when you start to think that you are raising 2 fine kids, boom!! They start to stink it up for you. Now I really have to start cracking the whip. I really feel like crying...I don't want to be the mom with the bad kids.

On a much better note, today is Julia Child's 100th birthday. I love Julia Childs. I used to watch her cooking on tv and would want to be just like her. I love her crazy voice. She somehow reminded me of my Big Mama - so squeezable! Happy Birthday, Julia! Tonight's dinner...hhmmmm??

Mimi picked up Dub from school a few minutes early today. He had a doctor's appointment. Then, I think they were going to squeeze in a haircut, some shopping and swimming before a spend-the-night party at Mimi and Pop Pop's house!! Ahhh...to be a grandparent! You get to take one kid at a time, he behaves like an angel, and then you get to give him back! Must be nice...

Guess who got an iPad today?!?! I have been thrown to the Apple wolves the last week and I hate to say it (mainly because I have boycotted any new technology for the last 10 years), I kinda like it. I haven't bought an apple sticker for the back of my car or anything. But...I likey the i-y. My last cell phone was a flip phone that wouldn't close, so it literally had a broccoli rubber band around it. Lovingly referred to as "the broccoli phone," it died about a year ago and sweet Benny made me move into the Smartphone era!! What a guy...

And would you look at me now...I took the picture of my iPad with my phone and the picture of my phone with my iPad, somehow got them to the dropbox on my Mac and put them on a blog!! I mean to tell ya...technology!!!
